PTI LEADING WITH 10,000 VOTES IN NA-25

By-polls on nine constituencies today

Tank: According to latest updates, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate from NA-25 – Dawar Khan Kundi – is leading in by-polls’ initial counting of votes.
Kundi has taken lead of over ten thousand votes against JUI-F candidate Asad Mehmood in unofficial announced results of nearly fifty polling stations.
These by-polls were being awaited eagerly by the people to see the outcome of voting in this constituency as Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman launched his son, Asad Mehmood, form NA-25 against PTI’s candidate Dawar Khan Kundi.
A large number of voters went to polling stations in Tank to cast their votes for candidates of choice in NA-25 this day. Female voters of this constituency also polled their votes in large number.
Owing to security threats, polling was cancelled in this constituency on August 22. Earlier in May 11 polls, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman won this seat in general elections.
The initial counting of today’s polling shows that PTI candidate Dawar Kundi will win from this stronghold of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazal today.
Total 308 polling stations were formed for voting in NA-25 this day. Over two thousand police officials and four platoons of army and FC were deployed for security duty during today’s by-polls
