People voted for peace not war: Imran Khan

PESHAWAR, Sept 25 (Online)– Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan said that the government should share points of peace talks after announcing ceasefire.
Addressing media after visiting Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar, the PTI chief said that the masses voted for his party to restore peace instead of waging war that has already killed over 50,000 people.
Imran Khan reiterated that politics should not be played on the blood of innocent beings.
He maintained that the government should immediately announce ceasefire and discuss points of peace talks likely to be held with Taliban.
Imran Khan said that the government should allow Taliban to open office if it is serious in peace talks with them.
Khan said that people are fed up of this ongoing war on terror.
He said that the war with Taliban is on since nine years and can continue for the next nine years.

At least 83 people were killed and over 100 others were injured in the twin suicide blasts at the All Saints Church inside the Kohati Gate locality of Peshawar on Sunday.
