PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Islam is religion of moderation but “we (followers of Islam) speak of Shariah with arms in our hands”
Speaking at a seminar on Sunday, the JUI-F chief said though the Constitution of Pakistan calls for promotion of religious education and Arabic language, the constitutional provisions were not being implemented in the country.
“Politics of conspiracies should be avoided, but in Pakistan, politicians disliked the politics,” he said while referring to President Asif Ali Zardari’s remarks from his farewell speech, in which he said the PPP will not do politics for five years to allow the Nawaz government to implement its agenda.
